Broadband – Feb 19th, the interview process to do a feasibility study with 3 interested companies. 2 online surveys are now ready for responses. Postcards letting property owners about the surveys, should be sent out.
Motion: Deluca\Ralston to approve postcards with information on the surveys to be sent to property owners, prepared and sent by Fisher Printing for $999.43 Passed 4/0 Tahija abstained
Fire Chief job opening posted with a 30-day period. Recommendation from the fire dept at April meeting

MN Dept of Administration Advisory Opinion 20-001 – Commissioner’s opinion as follows – The Greenwood Township Board of Supervisors did not provide appropriate access to the votes of members, in response to an October 1, 2019 request.
Motion: Deluca\Beihoffer to approve new Head judge, Colleen Lepper to replace Kathy Lovgren on March 10 election Passed 5/0
Motion: Skubic\Beihoffer to add Kathy Vogh as election judge alternate Passed 5/0
Reports: Supervisors: Ralston noted at the last meeting Mark Drobac talked about why Attorney Couri was contacted always rather than checking with MN Association of Township. To clarify – MAT legal staff, recommends hiring a Township attorney. Fire Dept – run report- 3 fires, 14 emr, 1 ff training, 1 meeting, 2 emr training, 3 maintenance. Bloodborne Pathogens training on line. Radio training coming up. Boat 2 has a fuel vapor leak and will be repaired. DNR grant for new life jackets. Also, looking at new radar for boats. Grant money of $1000.00 for interior firefighting masks. New fire-fighting gear needed. T-shirts with badge ordered I \ II classes beginning in Tower. Maintenance: new lights outside and in the kitchen. 911-no signs made Clerk: The Security system cameras have been installed.
Public Comment: Lee Peterson requested the email from Mike Couri be passed to other townships, and other Township information to Couri. John Bassing noted Broadband committee will be interviewing 5 companies.
Correspondence: MAT District 10 lobby day is March 18, 2020. Email regarding Spring Short Courses with MN Association of Townships. Invitation to Lake Country Power annual meeting. SCLAT Feb minutes.
