Chair Bassing calls meeting to order

Motion: Tahija \ Ralston to approve January meeting minutes                     Passed 5/0

Treasurer report: Checking – $265,429.95   Long Term Investments –  $251,499.47 Savings – $226,703.91 Total: $743,633.33

Public comment: Jarri Ankrum, with the Greenwood Area Recreation Board, talked about the rec board applying for a grant to improve Bocce courts and would like an okay from the supervisors to make improvements.                                                                                                                                                                         Motion: Ralston\Bassing to allow improvements on the Bocce court by the rec committee.     Passed 5/0    Mary Richard talked about the chili feed and the upcoming rummage sale-May 12. Also, she and Mike Richard cleaned the garage and brought the loan closet down to the main floor and brought excess loan closet items to Veterans Surplus in Hibbing.  They also did inventory. Question was asked about the water pressure in the kitchen – it is slow.

OLD BUSINESS

Motion: Bassing \ Deluca to accept service contract for new voting machine, with 1-year service package. Note: old machine has trade in value of $400.00     Passed 5/0

Negligent retention: Chief Fazio talked to officers and attorney Mike Couri – looking at SOG changes

Log book discussion

Retirement of Scott Kregness discussion

Lake Vermilion Trail – now a problem – St Louis County, Tom Bakk and Keith Nelson in opposition. Bassing attended the meeting on Wed- says the way it is going is very disheartening.
